Welcome to Tonya’s Tiny Tots Early Education Center, a licensed home-based early education and childcare program located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. These Terms & Conditions outline the expectations, policies, and responsibilities governing enrollment and participation in our program.

By enrolling your child or accessing our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.


1. Program Licensing & Compliance

Tonya’s Tiny Tots Early Education Center operates as a licensed family childcare program under the Wisconsin Department of Children & Families (DCF) and complies with all applicable:

• Wisconsin Child Care Licensing Regulations

• Local zoning and safety laws

• Public health and sanitation standards

Documentation of licensing is available upon request.


2. Enrollment & Admission

Enrollment is offered without discrimination on the basis of:

race, color, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or family status.

Admission is dependent on:

  • availability of space
    completion of required enrollment forms
  • submission of immunization & medical records
  • payment of registration and tuition fees
  • review of program readiness and care needs

The provider [Tonya Mason] reserves the right to deny or discontinue care if:

  • a child’s needs exceed the provider’s capacity of safe care
  • tuition or fees remain unpaid
  • safety concerns arise
  • policies are repeatedly violated

3. Hours of Operation

Operating hours are:

[Days & Times — e.g., Monday–Friday, 6 AM – 11:30 PM]

Late pick-ups may result in additional fees as outlined in the parent handbook.

The program observes the following closures:

  • Federal holidays
  • Planned provider vacation days
  • Emergency or weather-related closures
  • Provider illness or family emergencies

Parents will be notified as early as reasonably possible when closures occur.


4. Tuition, Fees & Payments

Tuition is due on [weekly / bi-weekly / monthly] basis.

  • Payments not received by the due date may incur late fees
  • Returned payments may incur bank fees
  • Failure to pay tuition may result in suspension or termination of care
  • Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated

Absences due to illness, family travel, or personal reasons do not reduce tuition charges, as a child’s space remains reserved.

A separate Tuition & Fees Agreement may apply.


5. Attendance, Illness & Health Policies

To protect all children and families:

Parents must keep children home if they exhibit:

  • fever
  • vomiting or diarrhea
  • contagious illness
  • unexplained rash
  • significant respiratory symptoms

Children may return based on:

  • symptom-free time guidelines
  • written medical clearance when required

Emergency medical care may be sought if necessary and reasonable attempts will be made to contact parents.

Parents authorize the provider to:

  • administer first aid
  • call emergency services when appropriate

Medication may only be administered with proper written authorization.


6. Meals & Nutrition

  • I participate in the food program serving home-cooked, nutritious meals providing your children with the nutrients they need to grow and develop. 
  • I also, cater to vegetarian, plant -based on other restrictive diets.

The program complies with Wisconsin food safety standards and allergy precautions.

Parents must disclose:

  • food allergies
  • dietary restrictions
  • religious food considerations

7. Behavior Guidance & Safety

Our program follows positive guidance and developmentally appropriate practices.

Physical punishment, humiliation, or neglect is strictly prohibited.

The provider reserves the right to terminate enrollment if behavior presents:

  • ongoing safety concerns
  • repeated disruptive behavior
  • risk to staff or other children

Efforts will be made to partner with families prior to termination.


8. Drop-Off, Pick-Up & Authorized Release

Children will only be released to:

  • parents/guardians
  • individuals listed on the authorized pick-up form

Photo ID may be required.

If an unsafe pick-up situation is suspected, release may be delayed and appropriate authorities may be contacted.


9. Photos, Media & Classroom Documentation

With written consent, the provider may:

  • document learning activities
  • share updates privately with parents
  • use images for program communication or portfolios

No child images will be publicly shared without explicit parental consent.


10. Personal Belongings

Parents are responsible for providing:

  • spare clothing
  • infant supplies (if applicable)
  • weather-appropriate outerwear

The provider is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items brought from home.


11. Termination of Care

Either parent may terminate care with a 30-day written notice.

Immediate termination, by provider, may occur in cases involving:

  • safety risk
  • non-payment
  • repeated policy violations

Unused tuition during a required notice period is generally non-refundable.


12. Limitation of Liability

While reasonable safety measures are followed, parents acknowledge that:

  • children engage in active play and learning
  • minor injuries may occur

Parents agree not to hold the provider liable for injuries that occur in the ordinary course of supervised childcare activities, except in cases of negligence or legal violation.


13. Updates to These Terms

The provider may revise these Terms & Conditions as needed. Families will be notified of material changes.
